La Hormiga Ribera del Duero Red Wine 2021

100% Tinto Fino Soriano, a century-old vineyard with a pre-phylloxera part, planted with a medium-high density of 3,500 vines per hectare. The vineyard is located on sandy soil with a clay subsoil, 950 metres above sea level. The harvest is manual, followed by a slow alcoholic fermentation. The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, of which 50% are new.

This wine comes from Quintanilla de Tres Barrios, in the province of Soria, and belongs to the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin, Spain.
