Ferratus Sensaciones is made only with grapes from the Santa Cruz Parcel, the vines were planted in 1965. A long-aging wine with a very personal style, for those looking for the most exclusive Ribera.

Over the last twenty years, the Ferratus Winery has become a leading reference for Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin wines in Spain.

The winery has achieved self-sufficiency in energy, 100% renewable, which allows for its sustainable growth. We recommend decanting before tasting.

Flavor: Voluminous in the mouth, well structured, complex, well balanced and oily. Tasty, broad and long.

Smell: On the nose, a balanced combination of black forest fruits in liqueur is felt, such as blueberries, blackcurrants, and violet caramel with a very fresh touch of balsamic on the nose. Notes of nutmeg, vanilla, coconut, cocoa, tobacco leaf, with a presence of the minerality so characteristic of Pago de Santa Cruz.

Pairing: Mushrooms, saffron, black garlic or black eggs. Traditional breads made from spelt, rye or chocolate. Soups, legumes and flavourful vegetables. Stews or casseroles. Perfect with brothy rice dishes, whether meat, fish or seafood. Complex, highly mature cheeses. Also perfect with cocoa, dark chocolate or after dinner with coffee.

Temperature: 16-18°C

Color: Cherry red with a dark garnet rim and high layer.

Cask: 17 months in new fine grade French oak barrels.
