Production: Rigorous manual selection of grapes from five of our fourteen plots of organic vineyards, based on the type of soil and the adaptation of the strain to it. Fermentation and maceration of each variety is carried out separately in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently, the skins are gently pressed to continue with malolactic fermentation. Finally, the different varieties are blended before entering the barrels.

Ageing: 12 months in new French oak barrels. And 24 months of rest in the bottle.

Tasting notes: Clos Galena is a deep, almost opaque cherry-coloured wine of great complexity, very elegant and mature. In this wine we tried to extract all the potential of the terroir so characteristic of Priorat in each vineyard plot, separately, to show its own individuality. Its aromatic breadth stands out, clean and elegant, with predominance of spices, especially black ones, which blend with the ripe fruit. The minerality is also combined with balsamic touches. On the palate, it is a very complex, intense, voluminous and long wine. All this contributes to making it a fleshy, fresh and long-lasting wine.

Pairing: Rice and pasta, poultry, white meat, red meat, game, sausages, meat stews, eggs, pâtés, foie, blue fish, aged cheeses, vegetables.
