Vintage

Selected grapes harvested by hand, transported in 15-kilo boxes to the winery.

Elaboration

The grapes are rigorously hand-selected and arrive at the winery in perfect sanitary conditions. The fermentation and maceration of each variety takes place separately in stainless steel tanks. The skins are then gently pressed before malolactic fermentation continues. Finally, the different varieties are blended before being placed in barrels.

Breeding

12 months in French (90%) and American (10%) oak barrels and 24 months in bottle.

Galena is a wine with an intense cherry red colour, where we want to express what our territory is. It has an important and ever-present mineral component, which provides freshness. It has a notable aromatic complexity and a great richness of nuances, where balsamic aromas and dried black fruits predominate, as well as jams, with light touches of black spices. On the palate it is very oily and fresh, with a powerful but smooth first attack, highlighting the aromas of black spices and minerality.
